Winter Wine
How Canadian juice explains your blessing

✅✅✅ Here's what's on the agenda today:
Last week, we looked at Genesis 27:28: “May God give you heaven’s dew and earth’s richness, an abundance of grain and new wine.”
This blessing wasn’t just for Jacob. As sons and daughters of God, we have the same birthright.
Let’s break it down. An abundance of grain.
Grain in Hebrew means “increase”. So when you read the verse, it says an abundance of increase — that’s like increase to the power of increase! God’s desire is to give you not just growth, but an abundance of growth. This was the blessing of the firstborn, and in Christ, that’s who we are (Romans 8:17).
Then Isaac mentions new wine.
Story time! There’s a special wine produced in Canada called ice wine. It’s made from grapes harvested only when temperatures fall below –10°C. At that temperature, the water in the grapes freezes, but the pure juice remains liquid, as juice has a lower freezing point. So when pressed, the juice flows out undiluted, without the water. That’s how you get the pureness of the grape — only under extreme temperatures.
That’s what we’re like.
When the world around you freezes — economically, emotionally — you will still flow. Why? Because our source does not have a freezing point or a boiling point. Others around us may melt, or they may freeze, but in those situations, we keep on flowing.
What God has put in you isn’t bound by circumstances. It runs pure and strong, even in the coldest seasons.
So hold on to your abundance of increase, regardless of how things look around you. You are the new wine that flows in winter (and all other seasons).
🔑🔑🔑 Key takeaways:
You carry an abundance of increase—a multiplied blessing of growth.
Like ice wine, your purity and strength are revealed under pressure.
God’s provision in you is not limited by external conditions.
