You’ve Been Asking Too Little – Here’s How to Access More
Find out how Gideon moved from fear to living the life God intended.

🍍🍍🍍 Here’s what’s fresh today:
In Judges 6 we meet the mightly man of valour, Gideon, who thinks he is not so mighty. When Gideon is first introduced in the bible we meet him threshing barley in a winepress. He does this because he is hiding from the Midianites.
I know this sounds basic but a winepress is used to make wine. A threshing floor is used to separate grain from barley or wheat which is used to make bread. Bread is normal, something basic and because of this it does not cost much.
But wine can cost A LOT (not that I would know as my body is a temple!) The point being that Gideon who is a child of God has access to a wine press but chooses to live a life at the level of barley.
This is an example of many Christians. We have access to a winepress life but ask God and pray prayers at the level of barley.
God is a BIG DEAL and by virtute a BIG GOD with a bank account the size of Jupiter! He does not want to meet your needs, He wants to exceed them!
Up your ask and He will up His give.
Live a winpress life becuase that is your birthright.
🔑🔑🔑 Key takeaways:
We are to live a winepress life and not a barley life
Up your ask and He will up His give
