Too Precious to Delegate

You can delegate almost anything, but not your walk with God.

GM. This is Soul Food. We make the Bible easy to read and hard to put down.

πŸ“‘πŸ“‘πŸ“‘ Here's what's on the radar today:

In Numbers 4, the tribe of Levi had three clans, each with different responsibilities. Two of the clans could load their things onto ox carts. Easy. Convenient. Job done.

But the Korahites? They had to carry theirs.

Why? Because what they were carrying was too precious to put on a cart. The Ark of the Covenant required human hands and intentional care. You cannot outsource precious.

Here is the principle: some things in life are too valuable to delegate.

You can delegate tasks in business. You can hire people to manage your schedule, your admin, even your accounts (yes, including those). But you cannot delegate your relationship with God. You cannot outsource your faith, your repentance, or your decision to follow Jesus. That is a load only you can carry.

And here is the good news. It is not a burden. It is a privilege.

The Korahites did not carry their load as a punishment. They carried it because they were trusted with something precious.

What precious thing are you carrying today? Carry it well.

πŸ”‘πŸ”‘πŸ”‘ Key takeaways:

  • Some things in life are too precious to delegate. Carry them yourself.

  • Your relationship with God cannot be outsourced. It is personal and intentional.

  • Being entrusted to carry something precious is not a burden. It is a privilege.
