Stop. Stand. See.

Stand firm and watch God overcome what you cannot

GM. This is Soul Food, the bible newsletter that makes every day feel like a payday.

☀️☀️☀️ Here’s the forecast today:

In Judges 7, Gideon stands with just 300 men against a vast army. But here is the twist: they never swing a sword. They simply take their position, hold their ground, and God handles the battle.

This teaches us something powerful. There are moments when victory does not come from striving, pushing, or proving ourselves. It comes from standing. Standing in belief. Standing in who God says we are. Standing on His promises rather than our own performance.

Gideon’s men did not win because they fought well. They won because they stood in faith. Likewise, we don’t earn God’s favour through effort. We don’t work for His love or acceptance. That is already ours. Our role is to stand in that truth and let God do what only He can do.

Many of us try to earn what God has already given. But when we choose to stand instead of scramble, trust instead of toil, God produces the victory.

Stand firm in who He says you are and watch Him fight the battles you cannot.

🔑🔑🔑 Key takeaways:

  • Victory often comes from standing, not striving.

  • God works when we stand in belief, not in effort.

  • Your posture of faith positions you for breakthrough.
