🍍🍍🍍 Here’s what’s fresh today:

In Joshua 2, Rahab hides two Israelite spies in Jericho. She’s a prostitute, living on the city wall which you’ll find comes in super handy later! Yet while hosting the spies, she makes a deal for herself and her family. She had no leverage, no power, and no guarantee. But she still asked. Rahab did not let her history determine her destiny.

Sometimes boldness is asking the question even when you feel like you don’t qualify. Living by feelings is a life wasted, but living with purpose is action-driven.

Believe it or not, the spies agree, and Rahab doesn’t wait to tie that scarlet cord. She immediately ties it in the window, right there and then. Not the next day. Not when the army arrives. Not when she sees signs of war. She acts on the word given to her, without delay.

That kind of faith is what makes the difference. Not just belief, but immediate obedience. Not just hearing, but doing.

So many of us wait. We wait for the right time. For confirmation. For the perfect opportunity. But some things can’t wait. Your purpose cannot wait. It requires action now.

If something could change your life health-wise, financially, or spiritually, do not put it off. That prayer you’ve been meaning to pray? Pray it now. That conversation you’ve been avoiding? Have it now. That step of faith you’ve been fearing? Take it now. The things you choose to avoid will control you. And yes, it’s a choice to do as well as to not do. What you procrastinate is a choice.

Faith doesn’t procrastinate. Faith acts. Just like Rahab, move on the promise before you see the result. Tie the cord now.

What’s something you’ve been putting off that you need to do TODAY?

🔑🔑🔑 Key takeaways:

  • Delayed obedience is still disobedience. Faith moves without perfect conditions.

  • Rahab’s courage teaches us that bold questions and fast action can change everything.

  • Your breakthrough might be waiting on a step you’ve been putting off.
