More Jars. More Oil.

Your gifting keeps growing the more you use it.

GM. This is Soul Food we share bible knowledge like passing down a family recipe - with care, tradition, and a pinch of secret spice.

β˜€β˜€β˜€ Here's the forecast today:

In 2 Kings 4, a widow comes to the prophet Elisha in crisis. Her husband has died, the debt collectors are coming, and she has nothing left. Nothing, that is, except one small jar of oil.

Elisha tells her to borrow as many empty jars as she can, go inside, shut the door, and start pouring. So she pours. And the oil keeps flowing. And flowing. And flowing. It only stops when she runs out of jars.

Here is the thing that hits different. The oil did not run out because the supply ran dry. It stopped because she ran out of containers to fill.

The limit was never the supply. The limit was the demand.

God's goodness, your gifting, your faith - it works the same way. The more you use it, the more it flows. The more you step out, give, serve, trust, the more it keeps coming.

God is not rationing you. He is waiting for you to get more jars.

So ask yourself: are you limiting what God can pour into your life simply because you have stopped bringing jars?

Go and get more jars.

πŸ”‘πŸ”‘πŸ”‘ Key takeaways:

  • God's supply is never the limit. Your demand is. Ask bigger, believe bigger, bring more jars.

  • Your gifting and faith grow the more you use them. Do not sit on what God has placed in you.

  • God is not holding back. He is waiting for you to expand your capacity to receive.
