🚨🚨🚨 Here’s what’s on the radar today:

In 1 Samuel 9, Saul was looking for his father’s donkeys that had wandered astray. While searching for them, he bumped into the prophet Samuel, who invites him for dinner and also tells him that the donkeys Saul has been looking for have been found.

However, the dinner that Samuel is inviting him to will be a precursor to Saul becoming the first king of Israel. This is a big deal and a much more significant event than Saul simply finding his donkeys, yet God cared about the donkeys too.

Why is this? Because if it matters to you, it matters to God.

Story time.

There was a young girl who grew up without a father in a Christian household. Every night before she went to bed, she would pray to God and ask to be twirled. This went on and on every night before she went to bed.

One night while she was sleeping, she had a dream. In this dream, she was walking down the street with a person that resembled a father figure. As they walked down the street, this father figure stuck his arm out and the little girl twirled and twirled to her heart’s delight.

While she was twirling around, she heard the words “if it matters to you, it matters to me”.

The things that matter to you, regardless of how small they may be, also matter to God.
