🍰🍰🍰 Here’s the menu:

When Joseph was in Egypt, he experienced seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine. During the seven years of plenty, Joseph had two sons: the first was called Manasseh, and the second was called Ephraim. Why is this important?

The name of Joseph’s first son, Manasseh, means ‘God made me forget.’ The name of his second son, Ephraim, means ‘fruitful.’

This signifies that in order to experience fruitfulness, you first have to forget or put things behind you. This could mean forgetting your mistakes, failures, or challenges—or rather, remembering that the cross paid for all your mistakes.

When you look forward into the future, do so with the lens of God. If you do this, you will see His best plans ahead of you. However, if you look forward with a perspective that is 50% God and 50% past failures, you will not fully perceive the plans God has for you.

So today, leave the past behind and embrace a fresh walk into fruitfulness. Walk in God’s best, and when you look in the mirror, see what God sees in you: a perfect masterpiece full of potential!

🔑🔑🔑 Key takeaways:

  • Fruitfulness follows forgetting – Leave your mistakes and failures behind to fully embrace God’s best for you.

  • Focus on God’s perspective – Look forward with a mindset fully centred on God, not past shortcomings.

  • You are a masterpiece – See yourself through God’s eyes: full of potential and purpose.
