How to Revive Buried Dreams

God’s promises are alive; trust Him to bring them to life in His perfect time.

🛍️🛍️🛍️ Here’s what’s in stock today:

2 Kings 4:16 – “Then he said, ‘About this time next year, you shall embrace a son.’ And she said, ‘No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your servant.’”

The Shunammite woman wasn’t looking for a miracle. She wasn’t praying for it, striving for it or even daring to hope for it anymore. But God doesn’t need our permission to do the impossible—He just needs us to let Him be God.

Through the prophecy spoken by Elisha, God revived a dream the woman had long since buried. It wasn’t about her effort, timing or belief. It was about His sovereignty. Even her initial disbelief couldn’t stop the fulfillment of His promise.

We are like the Shunammite woman. There are parts of our lives where we’ve stopped believing, areas where hope feels too fragile to revisit. However, God doesn’t forget the desires of our hearts. His promises are not limited by our circumstances or doubts.

Just like the manna in the wilderness, God’s provision comes in ways we don’t expect and often when we least anticipate it. The Shunammite woman didn’t make the miracle happen - she simply allowed God to do what He does best: exceed expectations.

When God speaks a word over your life, it doesn’t depend on your striving or effort. His Word is enough. God sees the dreams you’ve stopped believing in and the prayers you’ve stopped praying. He knows how to bring them to life, not because of who we are, but because of who He is.

🔑🔑🔑 Key takeaways:

  • God’s Promises are Sovereign: They don’t rely on our effort or belief, only on His faithfulness.

  • Let God Be God: When we stop striving and simply allow Him to work, He moves in miraculous ways.

  • Expect the Unexpected: Even the dreams you’ve buried can come to life when God speaks.
