Every renewal centre he found online had bad one-star reviews. Regardless, he had to go anyway. But he decided that while the place might be one-star, he would bring a five-star attitude.

When he arrived, he joked around with someone in the car park. To his surprise, the woman he had been joking with turned out to work there. When they went into the centre, she bumped him to the front of the queue. In just thirty minutes, his licence was renewed, and he was done.

This story shows that even in a one-star environment, choosing a five-star attitude can make all the difference.

In the Bible, we have Joseph, who had a five-star attitude even in a one-star environment. When he was a servant in Potiphar’s house, he had a five-star attitude. When he was in prison, Joseph had a five-star attitude.

Now, even though people may not have seen Joseph working so diligently, God – or you could say El Roi, the God who sees me – noticed. When you go that extra mile, it does not go unnoticed.

So today, understand that your efforts are not wasted. Have that five-star attitude with you no matter where you go!
