God Brings Dreams Back

Genesis 26 tells us that Isaac reopened the wells his father Abraham had dug. These wells had been deliberately blocked after Abraham died. Filled in, covered over, and left unusable.

Yet Isaac did not accept a future without water. He went back, removed what did not belong there, and restored what had always been his inheritance.

Those wells represent dreams.

Dreams that were God given. Dreams that sustained vision, purpose, and direction. Over time, many of us allowed stones to be placed on top of them. Stones of failure. Stones of disappointment. Stones of fear.

What Isaac teaches us is this. The well was never gone. It was only blocked.

Remove the stones that were placed there by fear, by other people, or by our own doubt. Doing the work of digging again even when it feels familiar and uncomfortable.

The water is still there.

God has not changed His mind about the dreams He placed inside you. The calling still exists. The vision still flows. The question is whether you are willing to pick up the stones and remove them.

Today is a good day to dig again.
