Acknowledge Your Wins: Why Every Step Matters

Success is in the details, and the plan is greater than you know

GM. This is Soul Food. We're your bible caddie – we carry the clubs and give you the best advice on the course.

✅✅✅ Here's what's on the agenda:

In Genesis 1 is the story of creation. After day 1 God says it was good, the same thing after day 2 - it was good. This went on until day 6 in which God says it was very good. There are two things to note here.

The first thing is that God achnowledges that His work is good. There are so many times when we do work or complete project and we down play our success or quality because we want to be humble. That is not true humility. We should also not be on the flip side and shout from the roof tops that we are the best ever. However, if you have done something well achnowledge it. A heart of diligence is inside all of us.

The second thing is that sometimes individual instances, projects or wins or losses simply seem like one off events and nothing more. But it is only over time when you look back at a series of events you will see why something happened the way it happened and like God looking back over His six days of work you too can say that the outcome was very good.

Today achnowlege your wins and your successes and know that these steps are building something greater than can often times only be seen by looking back. I like to think that God is a master chess player and He is moving pieces and pulling strings in the background - only He knows the master plan but that plan is not a good one but a very good one!

🔑🔑🔑 Key takeaways:

  • Acknowledge your achievements without downplaying them—this isn’t pride, but gratitude.

  • Small wins or losses may seem insignificant, but together they contribute to something greater.

  • Trust that the ultimate plan for your life is not just good, but very good.
